Vineyards: A vineyard dating back to 1961, probably born as bush vines and later readapted to spurred cordon. Each vine represents a work of art that tells of harvests, dry seasons alternating with torrential rains, and the more recent drastic climatic changes. Despite everything, each year the vines produce their fruit with consistency and balance.
Soil: The soils of Salina are volcanic in origin and have a poorly developed profile. They are characterized by a loose, sandy, draining texture and high porosity. They do, however, have good water retention.
