Description
Appellation: Vino rosso
Production area: Abruzzo, Italy
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 18 – 20° C
Colour: Deep ruby colour.
Fragrance: Intense bouquet of black cherry and hints of balsamic notes.
Taste: Soft and round palate with aromas of blackberries and plums. A very interesting structure is achieved due to the good balance between the soft tannins and the freshness.
Pairing: It matches well with game dishes, roasted pork and hard cheeses.
Climate: Mediterranea climate, with significant diversity all year round along the mountain areas, where there is a fresh temperate climate, and the costal aresa, where there is a warm temperate climate. In fact, Italy is a peninsula that hosts the highest mountain in Europe (Monte Bianco) and the highest Vulcano (Etna)
Vinification: the grapes are harvested, destemmed and vinified with 15 days of maceration in order to extract colour and structure. The fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic, are made in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature 25/ 27 °C.

A plain Rosso by name, but as in Italy, that’s the one to drink at any time. Well worth trying – especially at that price. I will order more of this.

This has to be the house wine. It’s delicious, interesting, and cheap. What’s not to like?
