Deep, dark, tempting and seriously seductive, Papale Oro has aromas of kirsch, plum and spicy oak, and flavours of rich dark chocolate, ripe cherries and spice. This is Puglian wine at its best, with great character, warmth, and ‘friendliness,’ yet no shortage of delicious spiciness, complexity and pure fruit intensity, and ultra-plush, velvety texture. There are layers of ripe black cherry and blueberry fruit, and everything is balanced by beautiful freshness right through to the finish.

Primitivo grapes carefully selected in the heart of DOP and harvested by hand in small boxes, originate Papale Linea Oro.

Tasting Notes: This intense red wine has a round and smooth taste reminiscent of jam and wild berries.

A wine that admirably identifies its territory with its important structure, while respecting the elegance that sets it apart. It perfectly matches with red meat and game.

Alcohol: 14,5% vol.

Grape yield per hectare: kg 6.000

Production method: vinification by maceration with controlled temperature at 26°-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, refinement in French barrels and American barriques at least for 10 months.
