To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sassoalloro (1991-2021), the iconic wine of the Castello di Montepò, Sassoalloro Oro was produced. Sassoalloro Oro comes from the area “Aia di Clemente”, a vineyard located in a portion of Galestro with good slope and exposition to east and south-east. As per tradition, from plants older than 15 years old. The vineyard is grown on soil with galestro mineral varieties contribute to an optimal development of the plant by giving its fruits unique and scents of the terroir.

Tasting Notes: Ruby red, rich and bright in colour, the nose is elegant of cherries and violets with a little spicy wood. On the palate it is fresh with hints of black and red fruits blended with delicate hinest of vanilla and spices. This wineshows remarkable elegance, roundness and equilibrium.
