Le Potazzine is a true family affair, founded by Gigliola Giannetti in 1993, and which she now runs with her daughters, Viola and Sofia. Potazzine is local dialect for the “little birds” which adorn the label, as well as a term for children. The estate has just five hectares of vines, among the highest plots in Montalcino at 570 metres.
