Sapori D’Italia Import was born from the passion of Adriana Betioli and Marco Nordio. Founded in 1989 Sapori d’Italia is nowadays one of the leading independent Italian Fine Wine Merchants in New Zealand, with a consistently growing clientele.

Sapori’s mission is to offer – to both private and professional customers – access to the finest wines at competitive prices. All of the wines are purchased directly from the producers and we are proud of the close relationship of trust we have with many of them. This privilege allows us to offer vintages, formats and wines that are often difficult to find or source.

Our very own Marco Nordio has passed the rigorous exam organized by Vinitaly International Academy, which awards the certification which has become the gold standard of Italian wine education and expertise, Marco is the only one in NZ.
