This is also made using the Appassimento method, an ancient Italian tradition of naturally drying the bunches with the resultant raisined grapes producing a greater concentration of flavours and a rich, ripe and luscious wine exuding ripe dark blackberry, brighter blueberry as well as hints of licorice and cherry. Boccantino Susumaniello Salento IGT 2023

We’re beyond thrilled to be able to bring this incredible wine to Sapori.  It’s a red that will have you swirling, sniffing, sipping, and saying really eloquent things like, ‘Oh, wow’, ‘This is SO nice’, and ‘I bloody love this wine’. This Susumaniello from Salento in southern Italy has red apple, raspberry, and chocolate-covered cherry characters and dishes up sweet, spicy berries like a champion. Lush, plush, and super-sippable.  We LOVE it!
